Canadian melodic rock band Fatal Vision are proud to announce that they have signed a worldwide record deal with Escape Music for the release of their upcoming fourth studio album, Four Sides to Every Story, arriving May 22, 2026.

Following the success of Three Times Lucky, the band continues to expand its global presence, blending classic AOR influences—such as Survivor, Journey, and Bad English—with contemporary production and broader arrangements that incorporate progressive elements.

The album also showcases an impressive lineup of guest artists from across the melodic rock world, including Phil X (Bon Jovi, Triumph), David Forbes (Boulevard), Mark Holden (Boulevard), Harry Hess (Harem Scarem), Jeff Scott Soto (Journey, Trans‑Siberian Orchestra), Paul Laine (Danger Danger, The Defiants), Alessandro Del Vecchio (Edge of Forever, Hardline), JK Northrup (King Kobra, XYZ), Michael Shotton (Von Groove), Marc LaFrance (Loverboy, Mötley Crüe), and David Cagle

THE STORY

Like a phoenix, Fatal Vision burst back onto the music scene in 2021 after a thirty‑year hiatus. The band was originally born in the heady days when hard rock ruled MTV and arenas across North America. Hailing from Ottawa, Canada, lead singer Simon Marwood and his bandmates blended their love of Asia, Europe, Journey, Survivor, and Van Halen to create a fresh, melodic rock sound. But life took its turns, and Fatal Vision was eventually put to rest.

Fast‑forward to 2019, when Marwood received an unexpected birthday gift: a recording session at a local studio. Rather than choosing a cover song, he dusted off decades’ worth of handwritten notebooks filled with original material. With the blessing of the original members, these sessions reignited the Fatal Vision engine, now powered by a new lineup featuring Andrew Burns (bass), Juan Miguel Gomez Montant (guitars), and Alex Wickham (drums).

The comeback was immediate. The debut single “Turn Around” made an instant impact on the Apple and Spotify Rock Charts and has surpassed 150,000 streams. This momentum continued with the release of the band’s first two albums, Once and Twice, on hard rock label Pride & Joy Music, charting in Canada, Hungary, Japan, Mexico, and Switzerland. Their 2025 album Three Times Lucky, released on Italian label Art of Melody Music, reached #1 on the Canadian Apple Rock Chart. Alongside over two million Spotify streams, Fatal Vision has released annual Halloween and Christmas singles, plus a series of covers—including their 2025 rendition of John Waite’s “If You Ever Get Lonely.”

Touring in 2023 and 2024 brought the band across Canada and to four UK dates, culminating in a performance before 2,000 people at an outdoor festival in Leicestershire.

Fatal Vision has also become known for its ambitious ongoing narrative told through more than thirty full‑length music videos, all featuring recurring actors portraying the same characters. The story of “The Lead Singer and the Heartbreaker” is now entering its fourth season, with over 1.2 million YouTube views.

Now, the band returns with its fourth studio album, Four Sides to Every Story, arriving May 22, 2026 on acclaimed rock label Escape Music. Advance singles include “Girl Against The World,” “All That Glitters,” and “No More Tears To Cry.” The album features contributions from an impressive roster of hard rock talent, including Alessandro Del Vecchio (Hardline, Jorn), David Forbes and Mark Holden (Boulevard), Marc LaFrance (Loverboy, Mötley Crüe), Paul Laine (Danger Danger, The Defiants), JK Northrup (King Kobra, XYZ), Michael Shotton (Von Groove), Jeff Scott Soto (Journey, Talisman), and Phil X (Bon Jovi), with production support from Del Vecchio and legendary producer Ron Nevison (Heart, KISS, Survivor).

Critical praise continues to follow the band:

“A carefree, heartwarming throwback to the golden days of 80s rock.” — Dave Ling, Classic Rock

“Fatal Vision once again demonstrates eloquent know‑how and real emotional quality. Great melodic rock, endearing and addictive. A fairytale!” — Franck Leber, TVRockLive

“Colossal choruses, anthemic hooks and intricate musicianship that call back to the glory days of melodic rock while pushing the genre forward with undeniable flair.” — Chris O’Connor, Fireworks

“Every single element was on point and blended together perfectly… it felt like I was transported into rock theatre. Stunning storytelling. I would love to experience this live.” — Lucy Parr, Get Ready to Rock!
